I became the principal of Fun D'mentals at the end of 2022. Prior to that I helped out part time during some of the larger MPLS Mart shows since 2012.
I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and taught for 10 years in the field.
I have a passion for playing card and board games and met my husband playing board games at a local brewery.
In 2023, I became a sub-rep of BGN Sales rep company out of Michigan for the Minnesota territory for a few of their lines.
In 2026, Son & Associates started to partner with BGN Sales and I became a sub-rep for a couple of their lines in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
I have been an active part of the MPLS Mart. I participate in the Marketing and Hopitality committee to help improve the MPLS Gift Mart for our customers. I spearheaded the Puzzles in the Cafe events that happened during Mart shows and the Games and Crafts Nights, working along side other toy, game and puzzle reps and manufacturers.

Barb Latcham bought Fun D'mentals in 2011 from Rick Niles Associates. From there she had built the business up and made it her own. In 2022, Barb retired, handing the business over to her daughter, Kayman. She continues to help out during busier shows at the MPLS Mart.
She is enjoying her retirement, boating and cross country skiing on Lake Minnetonka. She loves reading, traveling and e-biking with her husband Tom. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary at the biginning of January 2026.

Amanda has helped in the Fun D'mentals showroom since 2024. She also helped take over while I was on maternity leave, Summer 2024. She is a quick learner, and happy to help.

Showroom helper
Kay will be helping out in the showroom during shows starting in April 2026. She comes with a highly knowledgeable background in games.
